Terms & Conditions


Our standard terms and conditions of sale are shown below. Please read carefully. By sending a payment you confirm you have read and accept the terms and conditions below. 


Wedding & Event Bookings

  1. Full balance payment by the client to be paid at least one calendar month before the event or by specified date in the booking confirmation. 
  2. If additional performance time/setting up time is required, the fee for such time must be agreed beforehand with Penelope Petal Creations and paid at that time. All other methods of payment will be by agreement. Bank transfer payment to be made to: Penelope Petal Creations Ltd, NatWest Bank, Sort code: 01-06-45, Account number: 45828288 
  3. Advance payments agreed with Penelope Petal Creations are non-refundable and must be received no later than two weeks from the date of the booking contract (unless otherwise agreed). 
  4. Additionally, if the client cancels of their own accord, less than one calendar month before the event, all monies paid are non-refundable. 
  5. The contract is not binding, and booking is not confirmed until signed by the client and the required advance payment has been received and cleared. 
  6. No alterations may be made to this booking contract by, the company or the client without prior approval by, the company and or the client. 
  7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the company will not be liable for nonfulfillment of the booking contract, although every reasonable precaution will be taken. 
  8. If in the event, the contract cannot progress due to an external and uncontrollable event -government lockdown, catastrophic fire or flood, or similar, we will transfer the booking free of charge to another date, subject to availability. 
  9. The client will allow suitable time for the installation and dismantling, and removal of equipment (minimum of one hour). 
  10. If the start time is delayed due to the inability of the company to gain access to the performance area, or any other delay beyond the company’s reasonable control, the company will not be liable for any refund whatsoever. 
  11. Penelope Petal Creations will conduct themselves in a proper manner throughout their attendance at the venue and will respond to the client's requests as situating of equipment and, or any other reasonable requests. 
  12. The staff of Penelope Petal Creations are to perform in a safe, non-abusive environment. Any mistreatment or abuse of staff, in any way will result in the immediate discontinuing of services with full balance still due (if applicable). 


(Specific to floral installations) 

  1. The client has agreed/ given permission for Penelope Petal Creations and the company’s subcontractors to secure any floral installations to the shop front or other allocated area by drilling into the wall and/or signage. 
  2. Penelope Petal Creations is not responsible for any repairs to the area i.e. sign/wall should the client wish to remove the installation. 
  3. As with all silk flowers exposure to direct sunlight will cause the flowers to fade. Penelope Petal Creations has explained this to the clients before installing the floral construction and the client understands that Penelope Petal holds no responsibility for discolouring and/or fading. Penelope Petal Creations has advised the client to spray the flowers with a UV protector spray every few months to help protect the flowers. (if outside) 
  4. Penelope Petal Creations cannot be held responsible for any damage to any part of the installation after construction, caused by but not limited to weather damage and human sabotage.
